Retrieve and Share Your UDID Turn On Developer Mode Install The Bitrise Profile on Your Phone

iPhone users have a few extra steps when downloading a demo app.

Retrieve and Share Your UDID

Please provide your UDID to your Implementation Manager if you haven't already. Here is an article about how to retrieve that: Find Your UDID (iOS).

Turn On Developer Mode

Next, refer to How To Turn On Developer Mode for instructions. This setting is required to download demo apps.

Install The Bitrise Profile on Your Phone

  1. Go to the download URL provided by your Implementation Manager. You can either open the page directly on your iPhone or use your camera and scan the QR code.
  2. Click the "Check compatibility" button.
  3. A popup will show asking you to "...download configuration profile...". You can click "Allow".
  4. You'll see a new "Profile Downloaded" pop-up. Click close, then navigate to your iPhone's settings.
  5. A modal should pop up right when you get in there, but if not, you can click the "Profile Downloaded" button toward the top of the page (right above Airplane Mode".
  6. In this modal, click "Install" in the upper right. You may be asked to enter your iPhone's passcode after.
  7. Finally, you can navigate back to your browser, and you should now see an "Install" button where the "Check compatibility" button used to be.
